Product Description

Beef demand has been on the increase in Nigeria. In 2014, beef consumption amounted to 360,000 tonnes and this is estimated to have reached 1.3 million tonnes by 2050. Currently, Nigeria spends over ₦1 Billion on frozen beef importation annually despite having the capacity to rear more cattle and divert the money spent on importation to grow other sectors of the economy.

Our cattle fattening system ensures cattle are managed through restricted movement and high nutrition based diets, thereby increasing the healthy growth and rapid weight gain of the animals.

By sponsoring our farmers, you are contributing to the success of our food security campaign, fixing frictions in the agricultural value chain, making our farmers more successful, creating employment opportunities while contributing to the growth of the country’s GDP. Most importantly, we see this as a permanent solution to the frequent farmers/herdsmen clashes threating the stability and security of Nigeria. We aim to encourage farmers to take up this system as against the archaic nomadic way of raising cattle, which itself is not environmental friendly.

Product Description

Fish makes up about 40% of Nigerian’s protein intake. Despite this huge demand for fish in Nigeria, there is a supply gap of about 2.1 million metric tonnes. According to the Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2018 the national demand for fish was in excess of 3.2 million tonnes while local production was 1.1 million metric tonnes from all sources including aquaculture, artisanal and industrial fishing sectors, leading to a supply shortfall of 2.1 million metric tonnes. Interestingly, catfish makes up about 80% of Nigeria’s aquaculture which highlights the huge demand for our local production.  Catfish production is a gold mine of opportunities in Nigeria.

About $700,000,000 was spent importing fish and fishery products into Nigeria. Currently, Nigeria is the largest importer of fish and fishery products in Africa and the world’s fourth largest in terms of volume after China, Japan and the USA.

By empowering our farmers with your investment, you are contributing to the success of our food security campaign, fixing frictions in the agricultural value chain, making our farmers more successful, creating employment opportunities while contributing to the growth of the country’s GDP.
